Introducing Our New Pretzel Donut
With the end of summer quickly coming to a close, it’s time to start embracing all things fall. While the real Oktoberfest in Germany may be canceled this year, we are still providing you with a way to celebrate the change in seasons in an unexpectedly delicious way: the Pretzel Donut. Keep your eyes peeled for this new flavor launching on September 19th at 12 different Stan’s Donuts locations throughout Chicago.
How It’s Made
This unique flavor has been years in the making, as we have always wanted to roll out pretzel perfection. This year, we finally feel like we have the ideal recipe ready for all of you to taste. We start with our signature yeast dough which is fried to perfection. Then, we soak the fried donut in a pretzel bath where it soaks up all of the great flavor. After we bake the donut, we drizzle it with our beloved vanilla icing. These donuts are the perfect combination between sweet and savory.
“As someone who has been baking and working with pretzels and donuts my entire life, I’m excited for our fans to sink their teeth into what I know is the ultimate pretzel donut,” said Stan’s “Chief Doughboy” Rich Labriola.
More Fall Flavors Roll Out on September 10th
We pride ourselves on rolling out seasonal flavors to get excited about, and this fall is no different. Starting on September 10th, you can also purchase our fall-themed donuts that include the Apple Cider Cake Donut, Fall Glazed Donut, the Pumpkin Old Fashioned Donut, and the Apple Pie LeStan.
